Designer + Creative

Kem is a multi-disciplinary designer responsible for creating visually appealing designs that convey messages effectively and concisely. She is skilled at using design softwares such as Adobe Creative Suite and Canva, and has a strong understanding of design thinking. She has collaborated and worked with with other members of the creative team, including senior designers, copywriters, and project and marketing managers.

Working in a variety of industries and positions, she is able to effectively communicate her ideas clearly while being receptive to feedback. In addition, she has a good eye for detail, is up-to-date with design trends, and able to work under tight deadlines. She has worked for companies such as TA-DA! Language Production, Children and Screens, Google, digitalundivided, and most recently Mary Creative.

I work with a variety of clients to fulfill their marketing and design needs when needed and requested. Clients include Compass, InBrace, and Quantum Squares.


Senior Graphic Designer

Created visual content for digitalundivided across all digital channels, including social media, community events, newsletters, research reports, and organization-wide announcements. Specific highlights include but are not limited to:

  • Partnered with groups such as Her&Co to create posts to engage with our 300+ founders.

  • Designed physical and digital events assets for Do You Fellowship 2023, START 2023, BIG, Diane Dinners, and BREAKTHROUGH.

  • Raising engagement rates to 6.9% (a 127% upward trend) on Instagram, and 7.5% (a 34.7% upward trend) on LinkedIn.


Graphic Designer

June 2022 - February 2023

Worked within Google's Talent Outreach group as the the lead designer fielding design requests for the overall team. During my tenure, I adhered to Google's brand standards while creating unique and individualized graphic assets for several internal and external events, including, but not limited to, Hispanic Heritage Month 2022, Vision Summit 2022, Grace Hopper 2022, BHM 2023, and IWD 2023.

UX/I Intern

Children and Screens
August 2021 - November 2021

As a Fall UX/I Intern I sketched, designed, and later mocked-up interfaces to help drive customer interactions and reduce the amount of clicks needed for a user to find their requested information. I also assisted in reworking the information architecture to reduce redundancy.

TA-DA Language Productions
September 2019 - May 2021

Worked on creating supplementary educational materials to assist with language learning, such as bingo sheets, activity guides, memory cards, and ad-hoc projects. In addition, through TA-DA, collaborated with UNAM to create an introductory Spanish Alphabet to aide in children's language learning.
